Mixed sizes, chosen so the table reads at every height. Each bundle sits about 15% under the individual rates. A $250 refundable bond applies to every hire.
One long table up to about 30 seats, or four rounds. Engagements, milestone birthdays, intimate dinners.
Book PetiteBuilt for weddings. 80 to 120 guests across 8 to 12 tables, with enough left over for the ceremony and the bar.

You collect, you place them, you bring the glass back. Same candles, same wax, same glow. You're just saving the labour.

Delivered, arranged and lit before your guests arrive, then collected the next day. Auckland metro, and further afield by arrangement.
Questions, answered
How long do they burn?
More than 10 hours at a time, so they'll comfortably outlast your event. The sand wax is unscented, so nothing competes with the food or the flowers.
How far ahead should I book?
Four weeks is ideal, especially between October and April. Closer to your date? Get in touch and we'll check what's free.
Is there a launch offer?
Yes. To celebrate opening, all candle hire booked before 1 January is 20% off our standard prices, for any event date. The prices on this page already include it. Bookings made from 1 January are at the standard prices shown underneath.
How do I get the candles, and bring them back?
Collect them from Hobsonville the day before your event, then drop the glass vessels back afterwards. We'll agree times when you book. Rather not lift a finger? Add delivery and styling and we'll set up, then collect the next day.
Is there a bond?
Yes. A $250 bond is held with every hire, and it's fully refunded once the candles are returned.
What happens if one gets knocked over?
The flame goes out. If a candle tips over, the loose sand wax smothers it.
Will my venue allow them?
Each flame sits inside a clear glass cylinder, which most venues are happy with, but every venue has its own rules. Check their candle policy before you book. We're happy to talk to them directly.
Can I mix sizes?
Yes, that's the point of having seven. Start from a bundle, or build your own from the price list above.
Do you deliver outside Auckland?
Yes, by arrangement. Tell us your venue and we'll quote travel.
Can I buy the candles instead?
Yes. Sets of three and five, plus sand wax refills, are in the shop. For larger quantities, ask us for a quote.
Do prices include GST?
Yes. Every price on this site includes GST.
